Rode with the D street Crew on Saturday and then ended up with Butch, Carl and Corey G again on Monday as luck would have it to finish off the Labor day weekend.

Saturday the group made its way out to Branched Oak where the group split upon arrival - The MTBers vs the Cross bikers. The Cross bikers would head out further to destinations unknown while us MTBers would make a pass at Area 1 trails - which by the way are mighty beat up- and then over to Area 7 for a lap of the course that will be used in the Capitol City Challenge MTB race on Saturday the 11th of September. The trail is in great shape so get out there.

After a lap, we motored back to Lincoln...MOTORED. Yep, after riding with Corey most of the weekend, I've decided they guy has another gear most of us don't have right now...or he's getting some additional assistance somewhere...ala Cancellara style. The guys can verify...He's got another gear over the top of every hill...

Again on Monday, I was out for a leisurely ride when Butchie and Carl come blowing by me on the Jamaica crusing @ 20 mph, they were flying...so I jump on for the ride. Just as we cross Saltillo Corey was coming in from his first ride and unbeknownst to us decides to chase us down...keep in mind we were doing 20mph into a stiff 20 mph head wind. He catches us and Roca road and then tears us up. Again pretty sure he kicked in his motor... I swear I could see his bottom bracket twisting with the huge gear he was riding over the hills.
