-except maybe the number of times I've been to Wilber on my bicycle in January. Had to plod along to get out here today - Legs just wouldn't go. I guess the snow ride in Wilderness yesterday with the cross bike crew and PC killed my power. Anyway 70 miles round trip ride Sunday and one of my favorites for some reason. Anytime you can get a 70 mile ride in January in Nebraska is a blessing.
Was pleasantly surprised that Hwy 41 had been resurfaced. I don't remember it in the fall, but maybe it was done. The cool thing is that they put an extra 1.5 feet on the side of the road. I love this...just enough room to get you out of traffic. I wish all the county roads had this...Why don't they?
