Ski II

Wilderness was Very good today...Icy with lots of glide...The kick area stick was a little tricky, but once we nailed it down to a little Klister for the icy conditions it was Beautiful. Kick and glide without blowing out the hip flexors.

Chapman, Vondracek, Schlake and I met at Wilderness and had a pretty good long ski @ 2 hrs - 11 + miles when we got back. (took the GPS unit...that was kinda fun. Always wondered what kind of speed we could do on a blue bird day)

Some of the high volume track was packed down and rough from all the traffic it gets, the hikers tend to pock the trail and make going fast difficult.

Some of the track was primo.

When we got going we ran into a large group...totally sweet seeing everyone out enjoying the ski action. Wills Butch, Bonsal, Gersib, Godfrey, Fobben, and three other guys(didn't catch your names guys) getting their ski groove on.

Wills and Butch did a bike ski bike. I should do that too. Good job guys.
