Me and the boys

Havelock 10 K was Saturday morning. Turned out to be awesome weather. Our Y group - Team Panama- pulled off a Second place finish. Ryan R, Jorge Z, Jeremy H, ran incredibly good times. They are getting faster for sure. Brian Kelly and I made up the remainder of the top 5 times for our team. Austin was our 6th place finisher on the team and Darin had a heel blow out bringing him to a hobble. Jeff Hansen done teaching for the summer tied one on and ran a great race. Brett ripped the 3K after dealing with spasms in his back all week. Abbi and Noah both ran great races too.

Not so awesome weather greeted us on the way to Norfolk Sunday for the State Criterium championships. This is Norfolk as we pulled into town. The Women and I think the Cat 5's had to deal with this during race time.

Early in our 75 min race the field split...weird race with the wet course. Half the field went up the road. JT and Chet made the group so our team was well represented...(good job guys) The rest of us were afraid to pedal through the corners and met our demise getting lapped with 10 laps to go or so. What a great course up there. Good job to the Elkhorn Valley guys for a good weekend of racing.

Good turn out for our race. Was so nice to race with 25 guys.
