First attempt at Video. It's Paul on Saturday running the train track downhill. Yippee - or should I say -Whew -the run makes your hair stand on end considering how fast and packed the snow is underfoot and you are on skinny skis.
The track @ Wilderness is a little beat up from hikers and snow shoers but when you get in further the track is very fast and not quite as pitted out.
Yesterday a large group met - 10 people @ 10:00am. Pretty cool to see that many people out braving the low temp and getting their ski groove on. There's roughly a blazed 8 mile loop right now where you can add loops on the South side to bring mileage up. Yesterday - Friday - PC, Thomas, Schlake and I got in a good 14 miles total. It was SUPER Good.

Today, PC, Vondracek did another lap on a little more subdued pace for 9 miles...The track was really fast though... and every now and then We'd get it a little ramped up...So FUN you can't help it.
After we got back Jen dropped off Abigail and Samantha and we went of for another out and back. They did great, especially considering its only 5 degrees out.

Old Rock Island Bridge over Salt Creek- We use this as connector from Hiker side to Horse Trail.

Butch and Wills are pulling the Bike-Ski-Bike. Bhhhrrrrrrrr!
