PC, Schlake and I did a little ribbon riding at Wilderness this evening trying to beat sun down...Just made it back to the old man climb where I attempted to ride it 5 times and didn't make it a once. PC and Schake both did...Schlake multiple ((read (every)) time. For those that know Wilderness it's the old railroad track climb from where Rock Island would cross the tracks if it continued beyond Densmore park. Clear as mud?
I bailed after that due to darkness @ 5:45ish. Total bummer it's so early now. Those guys continued on with lights. Alas, I'm not ready for night riding.
Riding this creek crossing is more fun than hiking it. Not sure why after that last bout of rain we had a couple weeks ago there is still so much flow going here.
