R>Yesterday evening Scott Wieskamp's wife organized a Surprise party for Scott's 50th birthday. Good time - with Pizza and Cake...I think he was even Surprised. Happy Birthday Coach W.Saturday some of our Running gang did the State Farm race, both 5K and 10 miler...Noah even did the 1mile coming off a pretty bad cold. Huge turn out for this race with estimated 1700 people combined in the 1mi, 5k, and 10 mi races.
Three of the gang got some Lincoln Paper results - Brian Kelley winning the 50-54 age group, Brett D getting top ten in the Men's 5K for 9th and Abigail Burke getting 6th place in the Female Division of the 5K.
In the 10 mile, Darin Schlake pulled 2nd in 35-39, as did I in the 40-44 with Ken Lackey taking home 3rd in the 40-44.
Pretty successful group effort.
